The Norah Sande Award 2010
A piano competition for Young Adult Pianists of Kent, Sussex, Surrey and London postal districts

Adjudicator

Assistant Head of Keyboard and Professor of Piano at the Royal College of Music.

Appearances include performances with the Royal Philarmonic and National Symphony Orchestras, at the Royal Festival and Barbican Halls and throughout France with the Ensemble International. 

His career as a Steinway Artist has taken him to all five continents.He broadcasts regularly for radio and TV networks internationally and his most recent CD release, Chopin: Summer in Nohant received critical acclaim. 

He has served on juries of several international competitions in Europe, is diploma examiner and syllabus consultant for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and conducts international masterclasses.  He was piano coach, music advisor and composer/performer on the Oscar-nominated film Hilary and Jackie.
