Introducing the Norah Sande Award A piano competition for young pianists. To enter the piano competition pianists must live, work or have been born in Kent, Sussex, Surrey or London postal districs and be aged 17 to 25 on 1st July 2010. The Norah Sande Award competition for young pianists takes place July 2010 in Eastbourne. Piano competition prizes are a first prize of £3000 plus recital opporunity, a second prize of £1000, a third prize of £500. 
Patron and Adjudicators

Patron: Freddy Kempf
Freddy Kempf is an international concert pianist, recording artist and broadcaster, was BBC Young Musician of the Year 1992; Bronze Medallist, Tchaikovsky Piano Competition, Moscow 1998; Classical Brit Award 2001. We are honoured to have Freddy Kempf as Patron to the Norah Sande Award 2009

Conditions of Entry How to apply to take part in the Norah Sande Award 2010 - A new piano competition for young pianists. To enter the piano competition pianists must live, work or have been born in Kent, Sussex, Surrey or London postal districts and be aged 17 to 25 on 1st July 2010.
